Third time lucky!
I've been quiet for a couple of days but now I can share some brilliant news. Guess what? We successfully bought a car! It is a crimson red 4runner that looks like it could survive any terrain. 
My dad and the mechanic from Suzi Santiago are doing the car service as I type.
I hope this car is worthy of its post and can take us anywhere we please in South America. One thing is certain: it will be the closest thing to a home we will have for a whole year.
